In 2018, John Pagliaro was one among 10 invited 'Masters’ to Clay Gungong, the leading international ceramics symposium hosted by Mansfield Ceramics, biannually in Australia. There he was introduced to the audience of 650 delegates as, “the world's leading pinch potter”
John has been making pinch pots since age 5. His works are collected internationally and also held in museum collections across the US; Museum of Fine Art, Houston TX, Honolulu Museum of Art, HI, Newark Museum, NJ. An avid outdoorsman and marine kayaker, nautical motifs continuously appear throughout Pagliaro's ceramic sculpture and pottery, his handmade paper lights, as well as his widely popular sterling silver jewelry line.
